The Lakes FC U13 Girls Development Programme will run alongside regular Saturday football, providing an additional weekly training opportunity for committed and motivated players who are keen to further develop their football skills. 

• 12 weeks of Goal Academy skill sessions 

• Multi-Game Development Day

• Train and play with like-minded players

GOAL ACADEMY SKILLS SESSIONS

A chance for our young female footballers to take their game up a notch. The Goal Academy skill acquisition sessions teach decision making and creativity alongside individual skills, game awareness and tactical movement. 

Players will attend 12 weeks of sessions with Goal Academy coaches in addition to their regular training with their weekend team and coach. 

U13 DEVELOPMENT DAY

Players in the development programme will have the opportunity to take part in a multi-game Development Day, organised by Lakes FC and hosted in Rotorua (Term 3).

TOURNAMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Lakes FC will once again attend the WRB and other end-of-season tournaments (where entries are secured).  While tournament trials will remain open to all Lakes FC players, the development programme will provide high-quality preparation for those aiming to be selected for end-of-season tournament teams.

COST: $280

The cost includes your regular season fees, development sessions and development day.  It does not include any additional end of season tournaments.   

DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME ELIGIBILITY

• Open to girls born in 2013 and 2014

• Girls born in 2015 may be considered by approval only

• Maximum 24 players 

Players are not required to trial for the development programme. However, participants must demonstrate:

• Commitment to regularly attending development sessions

• Excellent standards of behaviour and conduct

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills

• A positive, supportive attitude

REGISTRATIONS 

Registrations for the Lakes FC U13 Girls Development Programme will be available with winter football registrations.
